CO2-compensation project
Collaboration with Trees For All
The CO2 emissions of Life & Mobility are offset through a certified foreign forest project of Trees for All. The impact on social, economic, and ecological aspects is monitored and verified. By contributing to the Trees for All forest project, we are CO2-neutral. Moreover, we strive for the SDG goal “decent work and economic growth”, which is also included in the Bolivia project.
About the Bolivia project
Trees For All helps farmers switch to sustainable agroforestry through the Bolivia project. This is an alternative to traditional agriculture and livestock farming, which results in the loss of a lot of forest. The farmers receive support to plant indigenous trees, in combination with coffee, cocoa, and other crops. This way, we restore degraded land and make it fertile again. This enables people to stay in the area and various plant and animal species to return. In addition, agroforestry provides better incomes for farmers. Therefore, this project contributes to a better climate, more biodiversity, and better living conditions! For more information, see Sustainable Land and Forest Management in Bolivia | Trees for All.
