Coffee meeting
On average 6 times a year, all colleagues from the headquarters are jointly informed through the coffee meeting. During these meetings, we discuss various matters that are important within Life & Mobility. Standard recurring topics are sales-related developments, important projects, and HR-related topics such as new employees, departing employees, updates on the collective labor agreement, etc. This keeps all employees informed and involved in all developments within Life & Mobility.
Employee lunch
At least once a year, we invite every colleague from the headquarters to an employee lunch, along with 4 colleagues from other departments and 2 members of the management team. The purpose is to get to know each other better and to discuss relevant current events in a low-key way, both within and outside the organization.
Employee association
We have an active employee association, of which 96% of the organization are members. Monthly, we organize various activities such as company bingo, Pitch & Putt, flower arranging, go-karting, or fishing. We also organize an annual summer drinks event. In 2021, due to COVID-19, there were fewer activities throughout the year, and we shifted to online activities or activities that can be done remotely, such as a home quiz, a Europe Cup pool, a mountain bike tour, and a drive-in ‘Sinterklaas’ party.
Personal development
The success of Life & Mobility is (still) due to employees with a high degree of involvement in the end user, knowledge of the market and the product, and a proactive attitude towards customers and colleagues. Therefore, personal development of our employees is a must and is a recurring theme within (formal) performance reviews.
